Learn about ground-breaking research from the National Association for Family, School, and Community Engagement and the FrameWorks Institute. This academy will give you tools to change the way you communicate about family, school, and community partnerships so people will understand it, appreciate it, and value it.

Learn to Use Research Based Strategies that Work

This Academy will help you learn specific strategies to frame your communications about family engagement to change the way the public thinks about it from "nice to have" to "need to have".

Course Lessons

Dr. Darcy Hutchins leads the Colorado Department of Education's family, school, and community partnership efforts. She provides technical assistance to districts across the state and staffs the State Advisory Council for Parent Involvement in Education (SACPIE).

Dr. Jes Stroope is a Senior Consultant in the Office of Family, School, and Community Partnerships at the Colorado Department of Education and supports various grants with an FSCP component as well as Out of School Time. She provides technical assistance to districts across the state and LearnWorlds technical support.
